Team Aid and especially Mohan were very hands on and very effective in helping my sister come back to India as quickly as possible when she passed suddenly overnight in Minneapolis. It really made a big difference to have them take on coordination and arrange for the necessary steps with funeral homes, consulates, airline authorities etc. I have already recommended the Team Aid resources to other families who have faced similar challenging situations in bringing their family back home to India for last rites. The passing of our father-in-law was shocking and sudden for the whole family. Mr. Mohan Nannapaneni and Mr. Anil Potluri came forward upon learning about Mr. Ramulu Varkala’s sudden death. One of our friends reached out to Mr. Mohan at 5 AM, and by 6 AM he had arrived at the hospital and met with us. He explained all the options we had in terms of taking him back home or cremating him here, connected us to funeral homes, and provided us with the relevant documents to fill out. We were at a loss due to the sudden demise, but they guided us through each and every step to complete everything (cremation, documentation, and sending the remains to India). On behalf of his family and myself, we are extremely grateful to you, Mr. Mohan and Mr. Anil, and the entire Team Aid for all you did. — Srinivas. P

Hello Team Aid, I am writing to you from Mysuru, Karnataka, India. My uncle was a resident Beever Creek, Ohio and he passed away due to natural causes. Since none of the family members were in the US and the family back in India didn’t have US visa, we decided to perform the last rites of my uncle in Ohio itself with the help of your wonderful organization – Team Aid. We will be eternally grateful to you and your team who helped us out with the last rites of my uncle. Due to ongoing Covid Crisis there were shortage of all Funeral services Mr. Mohan went out of his way to help find all services and arrange them so that it was all taken care of. Mr. Mohan went over and beyond to provide excellent services when we were totally in shock and did not know who to approach and what were the next steps. My dad’s passing was shocking and sudden for the whole family. We were on vacation; he was standing and then he wasn’t. Through this shock and extreme grief while in a foreign country, we had no idea what to do or where to go. Mohan Nannapaneni walked us through the entire process with extreme patience and compassion. Explained all the options we had in terms of taking dad back home or cremating here, connected us to funeral homes, gave us relevant documents to fill. At this time, such guidance was instrumental.
