When the family reached out to TEAM Aid in their most vulnerable moment, our volunteers immediately stepped in with compassion and care, coordinating a dignified Hindu cremation — honoring his life and bringing comfort to those he left behind.

That same evening, while walking together through Central Park, she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and passed away at the hospital, leaving her daughter devastated and alone in a foreign land. TEAM Aid stepped in with unwavering compassion, managing every detail of repatriating her remains to Lucknow, India, in full accordance with her Islamic faith and traditions.
