Who We Serve

TEAM Aid primarily serves the global Indian diaspora and diverse communities across North America and beyond, extending its reach to families in more than 27 countries worldwide.

What We Do

TEAM Aid responds to life’s most devastating moments — sudden deaths, severe medical emergencies, legal and immigration challenges, incarceration situations, and acute mental health crises. Core services include the worldwide transportation of mortal remains and cremated ashes, the arrangement of dignified and affordable funeral services conducted in accordance with local religious and cultural traditions, and direct advocacy and navigation support for individuals trapped in complex legal, immigration, or institutional systems.

Our Volunteers Can Help

Team Aid volunteer coordinators are dedicated to supporting individuals and families in need, particularly when they lack local assistance or communication with their loved ones. Our main goal is to bridge the gap between your current location and your home. Our committed volunteers are always prepared to help in various emergency situations, working together as a team to provide the necessary resources for crisis mitigation.

Although our coordinators may not be able to meet family members or affected individuals in person in most cases, they remain fully capable of offering emotional and practical support through our network of partners. In today's global economy, more people are relocating far from home in search of opportunities, safety, and a better life. With the increase in migration and travel, the need for assistance during crises has also risen. Unfortunately, this includes situations involving death, where we can help arrange repatriation of deceased individuals overseas to be reunited with their families.

During times of tragedy, individuals often find themselves alone, without the support of their families in a foreign country. This lack of emotional and practical assistance only adds to their already difficult circumstances, leading to additional mental trauma and stress.

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of a 22-year-old recent graduate who lost his life at South Toledo Bend State Park, Louisiana, while on a trip with friends. When his friends got into difficulty in the water, he did not hesitate — he swam to each of them and brought them safely to shore. In an act of extraordinary selflessness, he gave everything to protect those he cared about. Tragically, during the rescue, his leg became entangled in a submerged fishing net, and he was unable to free himself. Despite the efforts of rescue teams, his body was recovered from the riverbed approximately 20 feet below the surface. His friends survived because of him.

Google Analytics

User and Event Data Retention

User-level and event-level data associated with Google Analytics cookies is retained for 14 months and then automatically deleted.

IP Anonymization

I have implemented IP Anonymization, simply put, the last three digits of your IP address are set to zeros in memory shortly after being sent to the Analytics Collection Network. The full IP address is never retained, or written to disk.
