A 26-year-old student tragically lost his life in a devastating head-on collision when another vehicle entered the highway from the wrong direction. Two others were also injured in the accident. During this heartbreaking time, TEAM Aid is supporting the grieving family and coordinating the dignified repatriation of his mortal remains to Andhra Pradesh, India, with the valuable assistance of the Consulate General of India in New York and APNRT. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his family and loved ones as they endure this unimaginable loss.

A Forgotten Village, a Long Road Home, and a Remarkable Act of Compassion A gentleman recovering in a Chicago’s mental health facility faced the heartbreaking prospect of homelessness, with no identification, family contacts, or place to go. Remembering TEAM Aid’s earlier humanitarian work, a compassionate social worker reached out for help. TEAM Aid took on the challenge of tracing his family in India and coordinating his safe return home. What began as an uncertain search became a moving story of compassion, perseverance, and family reunification—demonstrating that no one should be forgotten or left behind.

A 66-year-old gentleman sadly passed away following an acute illness. As his family faced unexpected challenges in arranging the repatriation of his mortal remains, TEAM Aid stepped in to provide compassionate guidance and quickly resolved the logistical issues. Working closely with all involved, we ensured a smooth and dignified repatriation process. His mortal remains were safely transported to Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, where his family could bid him a final farewell. Despite the prompt response of emergency medical personnel, he could not be revived. The cause of his death remains under investigation. This heartbreaking loss has deeply affected the local Indian community, which has recently witnessed several untimely deaths of young individuals. During this difficult time, TEAM Aid, with the support of our dedicated volunteers, coordinated a dignified Hindu funeral in accordance with his family’s wishes. We also assisted the family in obtaining the necessary No Objection Certificate (NOC) to carry his cremated ashes to India, ensuring his final journey home was completed with dignity and respect. When a 79-year-old woman suddenly passed away, her family faced unexpected challenges in arranging the repatriation of her mortal remains to Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, as the funeral home they had engaged was unfamiliar with the international repatriation process. Upon being contacted, TEAM Aid immediately stepped in, resolved the logistical issues, coordinated a seamless repatriation, and helped the family save thousands of dollars in unnecessary expenses. We remain committed to supporting grieving families with compassion, dignity, and expert guidance during their most difficult moments.

User and Event Data Retention

User-level and event-level data associated with Google Analytics cookies is retained for 14 months and then automatically deleted.

IP Anonymization

I have implemented IP Anonymization, simply put, the last three digits of your IP address are set to zeros in memory shortly after being sent to the Analytics Collection Network. The full IP address is never retained, or written to disk.
