My brother was admitted to the hospital and later transferred to a rehab facility in the USA. For a harrowing four months, we had no knowledge of his condition or whereabouts, and we were unable to make contact. When we finally reached out to the TEAM Aid organization, their unwavering dedication became evident as they embarked on an extraordinary mission to bring him back to India in May 2023.
It is truly challenging to find words that adequately express our gratitude for the invaluable assistance they provided throughout his stay in the rehab center and their guidance in navigating the process of his return. We find ourselves eternally indebted to TEAM Aid for their compassion and selflessness.
TEAM Aid’s commitment to service is nothing short of remarkable, surpassing even what one might expect from close family and friends, especially in a foreign land. Their acts of humanity defy measurement, and we remain profoundly touched by their extraordinary service.

On May 27, 2023, my brother tragically drowned in a lake in the George region of New York. Overwhelmed and unsure of how to bring his body back to India to perform his final rites, I reached out to the Indian Consulate in New York and spoke with Mr. Vijayakrishnan.
With his guidance, I was connected to the NGO, TEAM Aid, for further assistance. Without hesitation, they immediately sprang into action, taking charge of the entire process. They worked tirelessly to obtain all the necessary documents and kept us regularly informed during this critical and emotionally challenging time for our family. Thanks to their dedicated efforts, we were able to receive my brother’s body in a remarkably short period.
From the depths of my heart, I express profound gratitude to Mr. Mohan and his incredible team at TEAM Aid. Their compassion and support were invaluable during our time of need. Once again, I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in helping us through this difficult journey.

What an incredible help. Praveen so patiently took us to funeral homes and when we decided to see my deceased brother 3hrs away he volunteered to drive us without a second thought.

TEAM Aid volunteers went above and beyond in helping us handle sudden death in our family. Lakshmikanth Gorrepati helped us process the situation, think of the options and what they entail as we were thinking of whether to conduct last rites in US or India. Srinivas Batchu garu and Chendra garu provided us local support in Austin, by connecting us with a funeral home, negotiating prices and providing us contact of priests. Throughout the process they have all been highly considerate, professional and showed utmost compassion. Teamaid made the whole process as easy as it could be for us, considering the difficult situation.

Dear TEAMAID,
I want to express my heartfelt appreciation and deep gratitude for the exceptional support and assistance you provided during the funeral service and repatriation of my father. Your kindness, compassion, and professionalism were invaluable during this difficult time.
From the beginning, your team, especially Sajan, Mohan, and Anubuthi, handled the arrangements with great care and attention to detail. Their emotional support brought comfort and guidance, easing our profound grief.
The flawless execution of the logistical aspects, including paperwork and transportation, relieved us of additional burdens, allowing us to focus on honoring my father’s memory. The generous financial assistance you provided was a tremendous help, lessening the overwhelming costs involved.

Thank you TEAM Aid, especially Srinivas, Shankar and Chandra for all your support during the difficult times. I’ve recently moved from India to Austin with my parents and my dad passed away two weeks after the move. It was the toughest times in my life and I don’t know how to handle the situation. Srinivas, Chendra and Shankar are god sent people to support us, they immediately came into contact and visited us. They guided and stood with me like family members until we completed the funeral. I will never forget the help Team aid members done to me. Thanks again.
