My beloved aunt has passed away due to stage 4 cancer, the sudden loss brought sorrowful moments to the whole family, while we were thinking of taking her body to India on demand of extended family members, we were left clueless about the process. We got lucky and got to know about TEAM Aid through friends. Their coordinators were prompt in helping us, guiding us through the entire process from completing the necessary documentation here in the USA till the body was received in Hyderabad, India. We are so thankful for the great help that we got from TEAM Aid and their volunteers. — Naveen Thota

I lost my father-in-law suddenly with a heart attack, who was in Wichita on a visit visa. Upon our family and friends’ request, Team Aid helped us to make necessary arrangements /logistics for human remains back to India, including documentation, approvals, and discounts. They have helped us throughout the process end to end, with a minute to minute follow-up of cargo till it reaches Guntur from Wichita via New York and Hyderabad. Much appreciated his help in providing free ambulance by APNRT as well. Our whole family Will be thankful to him lifelong and happy to join hands in this holy journey of TEAM Aid. Once again thanks to TEAM Aid and their volunteers. — Ramesh Naidu

I sought the help of TEAM Aid in preparation for the funeral of my beloved mother-in-law, who had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and passed away. In particular, Ramakrishna assisted me in finding a suitable funeral home, crematorium, and priest so that we could follow our Hindu traditions as much as possible. He shared his personal experience of the time when he went through something similar. That was so helpful. TEAM Aid is an organization that cares about helping the community, and I would recommend them to anyone. — Prasand Nair

I recently lost my wife. I was in total shock and did not know how to send her body to India at the request of her family. TEAM Aid coordinators helped me through this tough time. They genuinely cared and went all the way to help make the process smooth and painless. Their coordinators, Mr. Mohan and Mrs. Saroja went as far as giving me their personal cell numbers and asked me to call them anytime. It is rare to get amazing service in situations like these. Thank you, TEAM Aid volunteers, for all your help and support. If anyone ever needs help in dire situations like this, please contact TEAM Aid. Their volunteers will go the extra mile to help you. — Vishwanath Karkera

My father in law passed away in India due to Covid. Just 20 minutes after the news my mother in law,  who is visiting us couldn’t digest the sad news and rested on sofa peacefully. It was a disaster for us and I didn’t know what to do next. TEAM Aid team voluntarily helped us from all the phases of her final rites. I can’t imagine my life in this period without their help. Thank you so much TEAM Aid. You are the real volunteers. — Ram. M

“My friend Timmy H. died on August 10th, 2020 from cardiac arrest after a period of declining health. He had served in the US Army, was a Vietnam War veteran and was honorably discharged. He never married, had no immediate family and no financial resources. Timmy did belong to a society of people whose mission, like TEAM Aid, is to be of service to others from which he had a circle of good friends. During his life, Timmy had helped a lot of people. Upon his passing, TEAM Aid (with assistance from Timmy’s social worker) stepped in to provide for Timmy’s funeral expenses and arrangements. It seemed fitting that Timmy, a guy who was of service to many in life, was treated so well by TEAM Aid in death. Because of TEAM Aid, Timmy was given a proper burial with military honors in the NJ veterans’ cemetery. On behalf of my friends and myself, I want to say “thank you” to TEAM Aid for the loving care and service you provided to Timmy and that we greatly appreciate all you’ve done. ” –Bob G.

Team Aid volunteers are located around the world and are ready to provide invaluable service and support for those experiencing crisis situations.

We encourage you to join us – and together we can help others in need.
