It is with profound sadness that I share the tragic loss of my elder brother’s grandson, Anshul, a bright and promising young man. An engineering graduate from CBIT Hyderabad, he worked with renowned companies such as Amazon and IBM before moving to the United States to pursue his Master’s degree at Drexel University in Philadelphia. After successfully completing his studies, he was working diligently while exploring career opportunities. Tragically, during a pizza delivery in North Philadelphia, he was ambushed, robbed, and fatally shot. The sudden and senseless loss of such a talented young life has left our entire family devastated. Back home in India, family members were desperately waiting to see him one last time. His grieving parents were inconsolable, pleading for their beloved son to be brought home so they could bid him a final farewell. During this unimaginable hour of agony, we were blessed to come across Team Aid and Mr. Mohan Nannapaneni. Mohan Garu was truly a God sent savior. From the moment he contacted us, he stood firmly by our side and worked tirelessly to make things happen in the shortest possible time. He guided us through every step of the process, remained in constant touch throughout the ordeal, and continued helping us even over the weekend without hesitation. His compassion, dedication, and commitment provided immense comfort to our family during our darkest days. We offer our heartfelt gratitude and deepest respect to Mohan Nannapaneni and Team Aid. Because of their extraordinary efforts, Anshul’s final journey was carried out with dignity and peace, and we were able to bring him home and perform his last rites in time. Our family will forever remain grateful for their kindness, support, and selfless service. — Kishore Chodagam

During the most devastating time of our lives after losing our beloved Anshul in the US, Mohan Nannapaneni Garu and TeamAid were an absolute beacon of hope for our family. Navigating the complex logistical and legal processes of international repatriation seemed impossible while we were grieving. However, Mohan Garu and his team stepped in immediately and took the weight off our shoulders. They fast-tracked the coordination with the Indian Consulate and the funeral home, managing every legal aspect with incredible efficiency. Thanks to their tireless efforts, Anshul was brought back to India in record time. Furthermore, their immense generosity in sponsoring the entire process alleviated a massive burden on our family. We cannot thank TeamAid enough for their compassion, speed, and selfless service. They are truly a godsend to families in crisis. Cannot thank them enough! — Vamsi Ch.

My father in law passed away suddenly during his visit to US. On top of the grief, we had no clue on the processes and procedures for handling the post death events. It was a lot to handle. One of my friends directed me to Team Aid. And that’s when lot of burden got off. Mr. Mohan provided the response with all the relevant support. First and foremost, the assurance that we got from him on the things to do and NOT to do was helpful. Additionally, he gave us two documents to fill and he took care of booking the funeral house and appointments. Apparently getting Funeral house appointment within a short notice is extremely tough and we being from Hindu religion, the list was even limited. But Mr. Mohan simply took care of it and all that we had to do was make the payment to the Funeral Home and be there to perform our rituals. He was available, handy and extremely supportive. The service that Team Aid is providing is amazing and no words can be sufficient to commend the great service that they are doing. I have forwarded their reference to a few that were in need and will eternally remain thankful to them. — Sriram Vangara

My friend passed away suddenly, and his immediate family was in India. During this incredibly difficult time, Mohan from Team Aid, a nonprofit organization, stepped in and guided us through the entire process of repatriating my friend’s body to India. He handled all the necessary embassy documentation, funeral home paperwork, and airline arrangements, ensuring everything was completed properly and on time. Mohan came like an angel and saved us from having to run from place to place trying to manage everything. He made the entire process smooth and stress-free, keeping us informed at every step and ensuring that all arrangements were handled efficiently and with great care. I sincerely appreciate Mohan and the entire Team Aid team for their dedication, compassion, and unwavering support. As a nonprofit organization, the service they provide to the Indian community and others during times of crisis is truly remarkable and invaluable. Thanks to Team Aid’s assistance, my friend’s family found immense relief during one of the most difficult periods of their lives. Knowing that every detail was being taken care of allowed them to focus on grieving and supporting one another. We will always be grateful for your kindness, professionalism, and selfless service. Thank you, Mohan and Team Aid, for helping our friend return home to his family with dignity and respect. Your support made an enormous difference during a heartbreaking time, and we are forever thankful. — Sharanjeet Kailey

Mohan was fantastic. Our situation quickly changed over the course of the week, such that we ended up working directly with the funeral home, but we absolutely could not have gotten the necessary paperwork done to bring the ashes back to India without his help. Thank you to Mohan and to TeamAid more broadly! — Aakash Kolluri
