I was very happy with the prompt support provided by TEAM Aid’s Coordinator Mr. Krishna Majeti in logistics arrangements. The entire process helped us not to worry about all the logistics hassles and helped us with too many unknowns. Krishna was always available when we needed him. He also gave us space to grieve. I really admire the courage and generosity of all volunteers who are helping our Indian community to handle such a delicate matter. Once again thanks from my family members for all your support.

Right from my first conversation with Mohan, I felt like I had a family member in Boston, assisting me with the formalities. He and his team were diligent in updating us about each step and possible hurdles. TEAM Aid gave us the utmost confidence in ensuring that our loved one would be brought home with all the respect and dignity we wanted for him.

In our tough times, we got good guidance and support from TEAM Aid. We appreciate the support, kindness, and advice received from team aid. Mohan from team aid provided guidance through this journey. It was a death case of a cancer patient 40 years old. From Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA to Kerala state in India. We performed rituals at a local mosque in New Jersey and were able to send the body to India from JFK airport. Our local team was able to work together with the TEAM Aid team and was able to make things happen in a fast manner. Team aid provided advice and arranged a funeral agent that suits to handle an out-of-state case. The cost was also very reasonable and much lesser than others. Really appreciate the support from Team Aid and like to join as a volunteer.

Thank you to Team Aid for helping me with my nephew’s funeral arrangements. It was hard for me to get hold of funeral places in New York. USA as I lived in British Columbia, Canada. I had emailed many but did not get any response. Mr. Mohan from TEAM Aid assisted in organizing the funeral of my nephew whose body was recovered from Niagara Falls in the New York side. He also helped with getting the paperwork filled out. Thank you for providing me with assistance. through this difficult time.

TEAM Aid was very helpful in guiding me through the very difficult process of sending my former husband’s ashes to his home country of India. They also helped us to work with the Indian Embassy to manage the cost of the cremation. Everyone was very responsive and professional, as well as kind and compassionate in our time of need.

On behalf of Amanpreet Singh’s family and the entire Barara Village, I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to TEAM Aid. I was informed about Amanpreet’s sudden death on 9/17 in NYC. He was only 21 years old and recently came to the USA two months back. His father is financially struggling and was in utter shock with the news of his son’s demise. His parents were repeatedly asking me only one thing. “Please send our son back so we can see him and respectfully perform his final rites.” I was so lost and emotionally drained. I had no hope, help, or guidance. I called the Indian Embassy on 9/18/2022 and I was immediately connected to Mr. Mohan from TEAM Aid. I still remember my phone call with Mr. Mohan, his demeanor was so comforting and reassuring once I explained my concerns and Aman’s family’s situation to him. I couldn’t believe someone who has no connection with the family and had compassion for strangers in a vulnerable situation is ready to take charge of the whole situation. Indian Embassy paid the expenses and TEAM aid took care of everything else. Mr. Mohan and Mr. Raj Punjabi kept us updated on every step. Within 5 days Amanpreets’s family was able to perform his funeral in India. This whole experience was very motivating for me. I wish I could find enough words to express my appreciation for the kind support.
I really appreciate the selfless efforts of Mohan, Raj, their organization TEAM Aid, and the Indian Embassy of New York. I have learned a lot from this Experience. I hope to work with TEAM Aid with the same sincerity and commitment in the near future.

At times a moment arises when everything you are and everything you know is upside down-
“A situation we don’t know what to do! You are frozen, unlike an accident”.
The help and guidance you receive at these times is utmost important. The support and information we received from Krishnan regarding the procedures and the way everything was taken care smoothly was most valuable.
The service Teamaid provides is very helpful to people in times.
Thank you for helping us.
Sincerely
—Ravi s/o Laxmaiah
