When my mother passed away unexpectedly while visiting us in the USA, I was overwhelmed with grief and completely unsure of what needed to be done to take her back to India. During one of the most difficult times in my life, Mr. Mohan and TeamAid stood by us like family.
From the very beginning, Mr. Mohan never felt like a stranger. He took our situation personally and guided us through every step with compassion, patience, and dedication. He constantly followed up with me, the funeral home, and the Indian Consulate to ensure everything moved smoothly and on time until my mother’s body was finally placed on a flight to India.
One of the biggest challenges was getting the required paperwork completed urgently, and Mr. Mohan was able to help arrange an emergency appointment with the Consulate so that all documents could be signed without delay.
Despite being a non-profit organization, TeamAid was incredibly professional throughout the entire process. Their communication, follow-ups, coordination, and timely updates gave us immense relief during such a painful time.
What touched me the most was that Mr. Mohan even followed up after my mother’s funeral to check if everything had gone well. That level of care and humanity is something I will never forget.
