Thanks to the entire Team of TeamAid, especially Mohan, without whose support it would have been tough for us to shift my childhood friend’s body to our homeland, India. I truly appreciate the fact that The Team well understands the stressful situation the Family members go through; they patiently handle and take care of the entire process. It really would have been difficult, had they not helped us. Thanks once again to the Team, for the hassle-free services. — Upendra Rachupally

My relative Sowmya, who completed her master’s degree at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, met with a tragic accident on the night of Sunday, May 26th. Initially, we received a call from Sowmya’s friend informing us about the accident and that she was taken to the hospital by Emergency Medical Services. However, an hour later, the devastating news of Sowmya’s untimely demise was conveyed to our family, leaving all of us shattered and unsure of what to do next. Amidst the darkness and crisis my family was facing, a ray of hope emerged in the form of Team Aid. Mr. Mohan Nannapaneni and Mr. Sreenivas Jarugula stepped forward to guide and support us through this challenging ordeal. They meticulously explained the necessary formalities, paperwork, and procedures that needed to be completed. With unwavering commitment, they answered our calls and remained in constant communication, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. Team Aid’s assistance extended to liaising with officials, completing all the required documentation, and coordinating with the embassy. Their sensitivity and support during this loss were invaluable. Thanks to their efforts to facilitate the process of repatriating Sowmya’s remains to India for her last rites, we would be eternally grateful for all the help you have done. Thank you, Team Aid!! — Vaishali P

My Sister and my Brother-in-Law were visiting their daughter in SanFrancisco, CA and i live in Dallas, TX. Unfortunately on the early hours of May 7th, My BIL passed away due to a sudden cardiac arrest in the night. I was in the Dallas airport for my work trip when i got this message, and cancelled and redirected to head to SFO. While i was in the flight, i connected on the internet and checked Facebook, my friends etc., and on the advice of friends, i emailed TeamAid.org on their website. TeamAid (Mohan), called me as soon as i landed. The biggest first step was “walking me through the various steps. their education to me and sequencing, prioritizing steps gave me immense confidence in dealing with my family locally as well as back home in India. Mohan clearly guided me on the initial few steps, reassured me constantly the next steps, held my hands (virtually) and guided me. Without Mohan and TeamAid’s help, i would have been lost completely. they took exactly 3 days (Wed/Thur/Friday) and got the ticketing done. I am sure Mohan is a senior professional in his personal life, but every time, i sent a message on whatsapp, he instantly called me day or night and ensured to provide next steps or coordinate accordingly. He spent so much time debating and brainstorming with me, counselling me all through. There are many time of visible non-profits that volunteer for many many causes. This cause – which people overlook, till they have a need – is such a critical matter in our lifes – particularly during days of sadness, the confusion, the anxiety. Mohan and TeamAid: You are an amazing God Sent Angels helping the Indian diaspora at the most critical need of the hour. I WILL NEVER FORGET THE AMOUNT OF ATTENTION, COACHING AND HELP you all offered in ensuring my Brother In Law was transported to India. Lt. Mr. GnanaPrakash and all his 2 brothers, 1 sister, kids, grand kids, family and friends had a perfect closure of his loss and he had an amazing last rite, funeral and a great send off. My last respect to my IDOL – My Mama’s send off was because of TEAMAID’s help and Mohan’s help. thank you for allowing my Brother in Law to Rest-In-Peace. — Anand Shanmugham

Team Aid and especially Mohan were very hands on and very effective in helping my sister come back to India as quickly as possible when she passed suddenly overnight in Minneapolis. It really made a big difference to have them take on coordination and arrange for the necessary steps with funeral homes, consulates, airline authorities etc. I have already recommended the Team Aid resources to other families who have faced similar challenging situations in bringing their family back home to India for last rites. Thanks to Team Aid for providing a vital service for Indian families struggling with losing loved ones abroad. — K.S

The passing of our father-in-law was shocking and sudden for the whole family. Mr. Mohan Nannapaneni and Mr. Anil Potluri came forward upon learning about Mr. Ramulu Varkala’s sudden death. One of our friends reached out to Mr. Mohan at 5 AM, and by 6 AM he had arrived at the hospital and met with us. He explained all the options we had in terms of taking him back home or cremating him here, connected us to funeral homes, and provided us with the relevant documents to fill out. We were at a loss due to the sudden demise, but they guided us through each and every step to complete everything (cremation, documentation, and sending the remains to India). On behalf of his family and myself, we are extremely grateful to you, Mr. Mohan and Mr. Anil, and the entire Team Aid for all you did. — Srinivas. P
