As soon as I reached out to Team Aid, Mohan got in touch with me and was very compassionate with the situation we were in. He immediately sent all details needed for the cremation and got me in touch with the director of the crematorium. He also provided details related to what the US Embassy would need to provide emergency visas for parents. All through this, Mohan kept following up with me and ensuring all things were progressing smoothly. I would highly recommend Team Aid and Mohan to any of my friends in need.

When a death in the family/friends occur – we need the best of counsel possible. Exactly what Team aid provided in facilitating transportation of the body, in helping us understand the process, cost structures, and most efficient use of our thinly spread resources and time, Mohan acted as one of us. We truly appreciate the help and guidance received and is much obliged to the care, guidance, support and logistic coordination provided.

Dear Gulab, Mohan, and the Entire Support Team,
I want to express my deepest gratitude to each of you for the compassion, strength, and unwavering support you offered my family during one of the most painful moments of our lives—the sudden loss of my beloved father.
I was overwhelmed and lost, unsure how to move forward. In that moment of grief and confusion, you stepped forward without hesitation. Gulab and Mohan, your initiative and unity in gathering the necessary resources and connecting us with Christopher Stile were nothing short of extraordinary. Christopher’s guidance and sensitivity helped us honor my father’s memory in the most auspicious and respectful way, rooted in our Hindu family traditions. That meant everything to us.
Your support gave me strength when I felt I had none. You didn’t just help us navigate logistics—you helped us preserve dignity, culture, and love in the farewell we gave to my father. That is a gift we will carry with us forever.
Thank you for being more than a team. Thank you for being family when we needed it most.
With heartfelt appreciation,
— Dr. Raj Singh

TeamAid came to our support during a very dark time. While navigating the emotions of losing a close friend, they provided clarity and comfort in navigating a process with the county and embassy services. The whole team quickly swung into action to handle all the logistics. Thank you TeamAid.

I lost my brother in New Jersey, and through Krish Padmanaban, we were connected with Mohan. From the day of the incident until my brother reached Chennai, we had only five calls — yet TeamAid took complete responsibility for everything. They arranged the funeral home for the visitation, handled all the necessary formalities (including embassy clearance, flight booking, and more), and guided us every step of the way.
Having worked with and been part of other voluntary organizations, I can confidently say that TeamAid is one of the best and most dedicated organizations, offering invaluable help and service to families in times of emergency.
Thank you, TeamAid.

I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for Mohan’s fantastic help and support during the process of transferring Krishan’s body from the USA to India. Mohan was instrumental in handling each and every step of the process, and he completed the entire task by himself. His remarkable service and dedication have not gone unnoticed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

With just one phone call on a weekend, they have kick-started the process and made it all happen very quickly and easy for us. We were able to repatriate the mortal remains to India in just 3 days. With at most respect and humility, we are deeply thankful to ‘Team Aid’ for their dedication and commitment.
God bless Team Aid team and their loved ones with a long and healthy life.
For those who do not know much about Mohan Garu (the founder and president of Team Aid), under his leadership, they have repatriated more than 6000 mortal remains in the last 18 years. He rebuilt 3 government schools in India, spending over $350,000 of his personal money, back in 2001 and 2008 and still maintains them till date. He provided full financial support to 80 students, including their higher education. These are just to mention a few.
This world runs because of people like Mohan Garu who selflessly work to help the people in need.
Here is a recent video about his life journey and his achievements. A Truly Inspiring Story.
Stay blessed…
