On behalf of the late pastor Cecilia Wamuyu Murage’s family, we would like to express our gratitude to Team Aid as a whole for helping us send the mother back to Kenya. Without actually knowing us, they took care of us and understood our Kenyan culture. Our work was made easier by their openness and availability of many options. Without having to worry too much about the logistics of international shipping, we spent out time to celebrate the life of our mother. When the incident occurred, we were clueless. We took help of FETNA who recommended Teamaid and introduced Mohanji. As soon as he got engaged, there was no stopping. We had a clear step by step process, documentation requirements and Mohanji was accessible 24×7. We could turnaround quickly and on the 3rd day we had all documents available and booking made through funeral home to transport the remains to India. I lost my brother on 6th January 2023 after 2 weeks of hospitalization due to a brain hemorrhage. Me, my mother and remaining family members were so worried that we’re not in a position to think about how to take things forward. Then, my uncle involved Mr. Mohan from TEAM Aid. Their team helped us with all the paper works, proceedings, and formalities that are necessary and they made things as fast as possible, coordinating and working even on weekends. We were very lucky to be introduced to Team Aid. The death of my cousin was sudden, unexpected, and truly heartbreaking. As my family was new to the U.S., my cousin’s wish was to be brought home if something should happen to him. Mohan from Team Aid was there night and day. He answered our numerous questions and texts.
