Before this experience, I had only heard about the work of Telugu community organizations. I knew they helped people, but I had no idea of the true scale and sacred nature of their service until I witnessed it firsthand.
When my family faced the sudden loss of a loved one, we were completely lost and overwhelmed. But from the moment we reached out, Mohan Garu became our angel in action. He provided expert guidance on every single logistical detail, from the hospital to the funeral home, and even arranged an ambulance to the village. He was with us every moment, guiding us with all the documentation and responding to our calls and messages, even in the middle of the night.
He went above and beyond, getting a critical embassy document done in just a few minutes in the late evening. His unwavering compassion is something words can’t fully express. He personally visited us, providing a level of comfort and support that is simply priceless. I have seen what a profound service he is doing and how many lives he is touching. He is a true blessing to those in their most difficult moments.

I want to thank TeamAid for doing this noble cause not only for the Telugu community but for people across the globe.

My brother Karan, an Indian citizen studying in Canada on a valid student visa, was reported missing on January 3rd, 2024. On August 8th, 2025, we received the devastating news that his body had been recovered on the U.S. side of Niagara Falls. With no contacts or knowledge of the procedure to repatriate his remains to India, we were overwhelmed by the situation.
During this difficult time, Team Aid provided invaluable assistance throughout the entire process of bringing my brother’s remains back to India. Their support enabled us to perform the last rites and other rituals with the respect and dignity that my brother deserved.
I am profoundly grateful to Mohan Nannapaneni Sir and Prem Bhandari Sir for their continuous guidance, unwavering support, and compassionate help. Their kindness and dedication stood by us, helping our family stay strong in this period of immense grief.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you’ve done🙏 the time, effort and compassion you put in made it possible for family and friends to see him one last time. Words can never fully express how much this means — it is a priceless gift of love and humanity that will forever be remembered. 💔✨
Since the time he came to the USA, he never returned, and we saw him after around 3 years.

Mohan of Team Aid assisted us to move the mortal remains of Pratik to India. Morgan’s assistance was very helpful. He went above and beyond the call of social services and played decisive role in making sure that mortal remains were moved effectively to India. He even got last minute approvals which were screwed up because mortuary got the unqualified freight forwarding agency involved. He exercised all his higher level contacts at Air India to resolve the complications and get the required travel approval quickly at the eleventh hour. I am sure it could be made possible with Mohan’s involvement. I pray to almighty for Mohan’s long life and to bless him and TeamAid to continue to serve the humanity by this noble service and touch the life of bereaved families when they need it the most.
