The initial investigation has determined it to be an accidental drowning. On August 28, 2025, a tragic drowning occurred at Cultus Lake Provincial Park in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Emergency responders, including RCMP, Fire, Paramedics, and Search & Rescue, acted swiftly and recovered a young man from the water. Despite their best efforts to save him, he was pronounced deceased shortly after. The victim has been identified as a 22-year-old international student from India. In this time of profound grief, TEAM Aid has stepped in to support his family and is coordinating the transportation of his mortal remains to Ahmedabad, Gujarat, so that his loved ones can perform his final rites with dignity.

User and Event Data Retention

User-level and event-level data associated with Google Analytics cookies is retained for 14 months and then automatically deleted.

IP Anonymization

I have implemented IP Anonymization, simply put, the last three digits of your IP address are set to zeros in memory shortly after being sent to the Analytics Collection Network. The full IP address is never retained, or written to disk.
