The sudden death of Nadeem, a 34-year-old software professional shocked his family here and his parents in India. He is survived by two young children and wife. TEAM Aid is coordination with Mr. Shaik’s family and friends and making arrangements to transport him to his native place Nellore, Andhra Pradesh in India for final rituals. Telugu Association of Greenville and Nadeem’s friends helped the family as well.

Mr. L. Singh, a 45-year-old truck driver was hit by a car and killed on the scene. He was fetching a cup of coffee on his trip but sadly ended his journey in a disaster. He has no family members in the USA. He came from a small village near Jalandhar, India and living in Smithtown, NY. TEAM Aid is assisting his friends Ranjit, and Kulwinder and planning the repatriation of Lakhbir Singh to his native place.Â

Jaskaran Singh, a 24-year-old brilliant master’s student from the University of Massachusetts was hit by a car and died after a few hours. He came from Allahabad, UP, India to pursue his master’s degree. As soon as we heard about this incident, we went to see his sister, brother in law and friends. We are arranging repatriation of Jaskarn to his native place.

Mr. Vijay, a visiting patent suddenly passed away. He is visiting the USA to see his newborn grandson, but the tragedy of his sudden death hit hard on his family. TEAM Aid stepped in planning for the funeral.

A 38-year old software professional passed away in his sleep. He is survived by the wife and two young children. Devastated friends approached us for assistance. TEAM Aid, along with Tamil Sangam of Greater Washington, and FETNA member are diligently assisting the family in transporting Saravanan’s family back to his native place, Chennai, India.

Mrs. S. Bahl, an 80-year-old woman passed away after hospitalizing for several days. The social worker from the hospital sought TEAM Aid’s assistance. We contacted her family in Delhi, India and coordinated with them, the funeral home and the hospital and made arrangements for a local cremation with Hindu rituals as per the family’s request.Â

Mr. C. Vincent a 59-year old person was found dead in his apartment in Queens New York. His family approached the Indian consulate for help and TEAM Aid was referred. We have assisted the family arranged a local cremation.

Mr. H.S.V, a young software professional found dead after missing for over two months. According to his family, the cause of death is unknown but presumed as a homicide. His family and friends sought the help of TEAM Aid for cremation here or, if possible repatriation to his native village in Haryana state, India. We are helping them at present.

Mr. Govardhan Reddy Kotha, was shot dead in a gas station. He is a native of Hyderabad, Telangana State and is expected to return to his family just a week before his murder. The police arrested three people connected with this murder and robbery. Mr. Kotha’s family sought TEAM Aid’s help in sending his remains to India. Our national coordinator Sreenivas Jarugula is assisting Mr. Kotha’s family and raising funds to cover the expenses and repatriation.

Mr. Fernandez, a 56-year-old person died with a massive heart attack. His devastated family members sought TEAM Aid’s help. Mr. Fernandes came from a working-class family, hoping to make a better living. But his life ended while he is struggling for finding an opportunity. TEAM Aid with the help of the Indian consulate and NRI community in New York made arrangements to send him back to his family in Mumbai, India. TEAM Aid also making a good portion of the contribution to cover the expenses.Â
