Mr. A.M, a 34-year-old, young software professional was found dead in his apartment. He was living alone and his family is in Kolkata, India. As of now the cause of the death is unknown, but seems to be Covid-19 related. TEAM Aid is working closely with his family, friends, employer and colleagues in making arrangement for funeral services.

Mr. PT, a middle ages Indian national caught up with Covid-19 and died within a few days at the hospital. As most of the funerals homes in entire New York city area are overloaded, the family sought TEAM Aid’s help. We have arranged to transport the mortal remains to a funeral home within a few hours and followed by a traditional funeral. Because of our network of volunteers and funeral homes, we are able to timely assist his family. The Indian consulate in New York and the Ministry of External affairs are very resourceful in coordinating this funeral.

A 58-year-old health care worker suddenly died with a ruptured aneurysm in his brain. He was an immigrant from Nigeria and his wife from Cameroon.  He was a simple working-class person, survived by three young children and wife. As they were struggling for meeting the living expense, an unexpected, huge funeral expense, estimated $15,000 was almost impossible to meet. His family approached for TEAM Aid’s assistance. We reduced the bill to less than half the estimate by going through our network of Funeral homes, and making partial contribution to ease their pain.

visiting/staying usa since september 26,2019 on B2 visa allowed to stay in usa till may25,2020. traveled by kuwait airways. Scheduled return journey from new york to new delhi for april30,2020 wide S6Y6UE has been informed as cancelled by the airline. Both me and my wife are 70/63yrs old and may anytime be needful for medical assistance/other assistance required for foreign nationals temporarily staying in new york city. needful registration if any with consulate general of india, is on, please.

Visa extension denied and couldn’t travel to India due to travel ban. Currently residing in friend home as am currently out of status and Loss of Pay. Request to include me in the list for any evacuation to India as its been already 45 days of illegal stay and without pay

A young Ph.D student at University of Montana, suddenly died of an unknown cause. TEAM aid coordinated with the family, friends, the Indian consulate and the funeral home and assisted transporting the remains to India. Particularly, we stepped in a critical time to correct the process initiated by some other organization. Without timely support from TEAM Aid, the family of the deceased couldn’t have transported the body to India.

A 35-year-old, young man suddenly had a severe brain stroke on February 26, 2020. Ever since he has been fighting for his life at a hospital in Mountain View, California. His family seeking the help of TEAM Aid to cope with the situation.

A 58-year-old, visiting parent from India, suffered an unexpected heart attack a couple of weeks back. He had two major surgeries within the last 10 days including a bypass surgery on February 29th. Unfortunately, he could not survive. His family has approached for help. We consoled his family and making arrangements for sending his mortal remains to India.

A major fire accident burned few apartments and displaced 15 families. Three international students living in one of those apartments have lost everything they had except their documents. TEAM Aid providing them some financial support as an immediate relief.Â
