IAGB and TEAM Aid jointly announcing partnership between the two organizations.
Founded in 1962 as a socio-cultural organization, IAGB has played an important role in bringing the area’s Indian communities together. In its early years, IAGB played a major role in bringing the then small Indian community together to celebrate Indian festivals and special occasions. It must be noted that its annual India Day celebration in Boston has grown into one of the largest ethnic events in the City of Boston, drawing thousands of people of all ethnicity comprising not only Indian Americans, but also the national mainstream. IAGB also closely work with all local Indian organizations to bring Indo-American community together under one umbrella.
Mr. Sanjay Gowda, the president of IAGB says, “IAGB is very happy to partner with TEAM Aid in serving the New England community while the community members in emergencies and unfortunate events. Our sincere gratitude to TEAM Aid for such a large scale humanitarian effort and assistance to all those in distress.”
TEAM Aid has been working closely with IAGB for the last few years. Now this formal announcement of partnership enforces the relation between two organizations.
