Message from Mr. Prem Bhandari
“I first learned about TEAM Aid through a community connection, and their work immediately captured my attention. As someone who has been deeply involved in serving the Indian diaspora in the U.S., I was particularly moved when TEAM Aid stepped in to transport the remains of two individuals from Rajasthan who had tragically passed away in New York and Kansas. Working closely with them during this process, I witnessed their unwavering commitment and meticulous care in helping the families involved. Their dedication left a lasting impression on me.
Recognizing my involvement and compassion for community service, TEAM Aid’s founder invited me to join their board as Chief Advisor, a role I accepted with great honor. Since then, I have seen firsthand the tireless efforts of TEAM Aid’s volunteers and the incredible impact they have on the Indian community across the USA. Their mission continues to inspire me and strengthen my resolve to serve.
I want to commend Mohan Nannapaneni, president and director of TeamAid, for his unwavering dedication to helping families transport their loved one’s remains to India during difficult times. Navigating the intricate legal and bureaucratic procedures—such as obtaining departmental clearances and identifying the deceased—is an arduous task. Throughout my time working with him, I witnessed his tireless efforts firsthand. Even while hospitalized, he stayed in constant communication with me and the authorities to prevent unnecessary delays. His commitment deeply moved me, and I sincerely wish we had more community leaders like him.”
