The grand celebration of the 50th Anniversary of The Spiritual Development Center was held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the GSNY Community Center in New York. Founded in July 1975 on the auspicious day of Guru Purnima under the divine blessings of Pujya Sant Shri Devendra Vijay Maharaj (Jai Bhagvan), the Center has grown from humble beginnings into a vibrant institution promoting spiritual growth and humanitarian service.
Over the years, the Center has supported vital causes such as cancer treatment, cataract surgeries, dialysis care, aid for polio, leprosy, mental health, disabilities, student housing, elder care, and disaster relief—all through generous donations from religious and cultural events.
The 50th Foundation Day was celebrated with deep devotion and joy, featuring a Shobha Yatra, New York’s first-ever Navchandi Mahayagya, Bhajan-Kirtan, cultural programs, and a traditional Gujarati Diaro.
The event was graced by Chief Guests—Consul General of India Mr. Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, community leader Mr. Prem Bhandari, and Mr. Mohan Nannapaneni of TEAM Aid, who were recognized for their service. Special honor was given to the founder and past President, Mr. Dahyahbhai Patel, for his vision and five decades of leadership.
