TEAM Aid Receives Community Service Award at AAUC’s 2024 Unity Summit

The Asian American Unity Coalition (AAUC) proudly presented the prestigious Community Service Award to TEAM Aid during the 2024 Unity Summit held on September 20th in Washington, DC. This recognition highlights TEAM Aid’s exceptional contributions and unwavering dedication to supporting the Indian American community in times of need.

AAUC extends its deepest gratitude to TEAM Aid for their impactful service and commitment to assisting individuals facing crises.

Reason for Award:
TEAM Aid has provided life-saving support to individuals in extreme distress, both living and traveling abroad. The organization has facilitated the transportation of thousands of mortal remains back to India and 21 other countries, coordinated numerous religious funeral services across the U.S. and Canada, and offered critical assistance to immigrant families during their most challenging times. This tireless service has benefited not only the Asian American community but society at large.

The Asian American Unity Coalition (AAUC) is a national organization dedicated to fostering unity among the diverse Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities.
