TEAM Aid Helps Bring a Pastor’s Wife Home from India to Canada

SUCCESSFUL REPATRIATION STORY

A 59-year-old woman traveled to New Delhi, India, with her husband to undergo a liver transplant, hoping for a new lease on life. Tragically, the surgery was unsuccessful, and she passed away, leaving her husband devastated and heartbroken.

Already struggling with substantial hospital expenses, her grieving husband—a former engineer from the West Indies who migrated to Canada and is now a pastor devoted to serving his local community—reached out to TEAM Aid for assistance in bringing his beloved wife’s mortal remains home to Pickering, Ontario, Canada.

Recognizing the family’s emotional and financial hardship, TEAM Aid stepped forward with compassion and urgency. Through our coordinated efforts, we helped the family save several thousand dollars in repatriation expenses, provided additional financial assistance, and expedited the transportation of her mortal remains from New Delhi, India, to Toronto, Canada.
