A 35-year-old gentleman developed acute breathing difficulties while driving and was immediately transported to the hospital by EMS personnel, where he unfortunately passed away. Upon the family’s request, TEAM Aid coordinated with the Indian Embassy and a local volunteer to arrange the repatriation of his mortal remains to Delhi, India. The TEAM Aid team expedited critical documentation, resolved procedural issues, and ensured the family was not subjected to excessive or unfair funeral home charges—ultimately saving them thousands of dollars and offering compassionate support throughout the process.

Mr. P.G., a 50-year-old person.0 who had recently moved to Maryland seeking employment, sadly passed away on December 18, 2024, due to cardiac arrest while residing at a motel in Elkton. As his phone had been stolen and his family could not be reached, he was cremated by U.S. officials with the financial help from the Indian Embassy. TEAM Aid is working closely with the Maryland Medical Examiner’s Office, the Indian Embassy, and the funeral home to complete the documentation process and arrange for the repatriation of his cremated ashes to India. This ensures a dignified final farewell in accordance with Hindu traditions.

Support for a Visiting Individual from the Philippines. A 64-year-old gentleman visiting from the Philippines sadly passed away due to a severe illness. As his family faced significant financial hardship in arranging the funeral, TEAM Aid stepped forward to assist with compassion and care. The organization coordinated a substantially discounted funeral arrangement and also contributed financially toward the cremation, helping the family honor their loved one with dignity and peace.

A 30-year-old young man was tragically found deceased in the desert of Texas near the Mexico border. The identification process was complex and took several months, prolonging the anguish for his family in India who waited for answers and closure. Throughout this difficult period, TEAM Aid remained engaged and committed to ensuring that he would not be forgotten. In close coordination with the Consulate General of India in Houston, we assisted with the necessary documentation and logistical arrangements to transport his mortal remains to his family in Haryana for his final rites

A 28-year-old master’s student from India went missing during his morning walk and was found a few days later after police informed his family that he had been tragically shot dead. While the investigation is ongoing, TEAM Aid, with the support of the Indian Embassy in Chicago, coordinated the transportation of his mortal remains to his grieving family in Delhi, India, ensuring a dignified repatriation.

User and Event Data Retention

I have implemented IP Anonymization, simply put, the last three digits of your IP address are set to zeros in memory shortly after being sent to the Analytics Collection Network. The full IP address is never retained, or written to disk.
